A River Runs Through It

Here’s a quick post for the day. A little background on it: I took this photo on some land next to my parents house. I’ve driven by it several times, but never had the opportunity to photograph it… that is until recently. The funny thing is that this picture was taken on someone’s driveway. I was in a hurry and didn’t ask permission to photograph on their property and, truth be told, I probably wouldn’t have even if I wasn’t in a hurry. I’m a firm believer in asking for forgiveness later. As it turns out, the owner of the property pulled onto the driveway just as I was packing up my gear. Awkward. I threw my gear in my car and approached their truck explaining what I was doing. They didn’t mind. Whew. As a thanks, I plan on making a print and giving it to them. Well, without further ado, here is the image… in color and mono.

Note: As is going to be the case in all future posts, I’ve included the before image as well. Please use the slider to change from before to after and let me know if you run into any problems.
