There is a statue of Mike & Maureen Mansfield in Helena, Montana’s capital building. It was dedicated in 2001, after Mike Mansfield’s death. Originally, I took this image with 9 exposures, but after processing HDR image after HDR image I wonder, “Should this image even be processed with HDR?” Right now, I’m not too worried about it. I figure it’s practice. But, I thought it would be interesting to get your opinion. So, I processed this image 4 different ways – all B&W, but using different techniques to get the end result. So, what do you think? Which is the better?

Bob Lussier is a great photographer based out of Methuen, Massachusetts. He has a love for HDR, stairways, and generally taking awesome pictures. He posts images on his blog on a daily basis and his articles are a joy to read. I’ve included a few of my favorite images of his. Particularly, the last – ‘Fire Escape’, is my favorite. You can download it here as a wallpaper.
